Take a meaningful ACTion towards what you care about in life!

This workshop series is intended for everyone. Join Dr. Charles C. Muorah, PhD, STL, LMFT to learn how to use acceptance and commitment therapy (healing tools) and guided by one’s values mindfully do what matters to develop the quality of life one desires to have.

Each workshop session is complete by itself. It is recommended that one register for the first session to get a more detailed understanding of the ACT theory and process. You may choose to register for one, all, or a combination of workshops.

Dr. Charles C. Muorah, PhD, STL, LMFT

Dr. Charles C. Muorah, PhD, STL, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist with specialized training in brainspotting, sex therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and anger management. He is a board-approved clinical supervisor. Dr. Muorah provides individual, couple, and family therapy; he helps clients to recreate their narratives and find new meaning and purpose in their lives. He uses joining, solution, and emotion-focused interventions; cognitive and relational attunements,  empowering language, ACT and systemic interventions to bring about desirable changes. At the heart of his clinical interventions is identifying what you  care about in life, mindfully opening up and allowing/acknowledging your life experiences, and guided by your core values do what matters by engaging in smart actions and behaviors that add value to what you care about or the quality of life you have. Dr. Muorah has helped blended families alleviate divergence to become a strong and cohesive family unit. His life across continents helps him address cultural and diversity issues. He has unique strength helping people to resolve marital issues, racial/cultural and shame-based trauma, collective/generational trauma and sexual trauma. If there is collective trauma, there is collective wisdom that addresses it. Dr. Muorah is also a Christian and pre-marriage counselor helping people to heal and live their best quality of life.
