CFR CEO Deb D’Arcangelo attends the Philadelphia Walk to Prevent Suicide
October 1st was a beautiful day for the “Out of the Darkness: Philadelphia Walk to Prevent Suicide” held by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Dr. Lawrence Real, Chief Medical Officer of the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services, noted during the program that Philadelphia has a 20% lower rate of suicide than the national average, but that, of course, is still too high. It was wonderful spending the morning with thousands of people from greater Philadelphia seeking to eradicate suicide.
