About Couples Communication Essentials

Couples Communication Essentials is a comprehensive 36-hour program comprised of six program modules can be taken individually or in sequence. These modules address communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation, anger management techniques, dealing with emotions in relationships, sensuality, sexuality, and jealousy.

Couples Communication Essentials is an evidence-based relationship strengthening approach to teaching couples how to communicate effectively, manage conflicts without damaging closeness, and how to preserve and enhance commitment, friendship, and intimacy. The premise is that it’s not how much you love each other that makes a relationship work (although love does matter); it’s how you resolve differences and preserve fun and sensuality that keeps a relationship strong. This program offers participants the road map and skills to build fulfilling, pleasurable relationships.
