Master’s Program Welcomes Graduates into Alumni Family

June 19, 2019 | Late last month, 19 students graduated from the Master’s in Family Therapy Program in partnership with Thomas Jefferson University. All of the program faculty are practicing clinicians at Council for Relationships, where students also work with clients to complete their clinical practicum.

The graduation reception featured remarks by Program Directors Drs. Ken Covelman and George James. Director of Community Partnerships, Dr. Sara Corse, and Directors of Sex Therapy, Michele Marsh, also offered their congratulations to the graduates.

In addition to the graduates sharing their reflections and gratitude, numerous partners and family members approached the podium to voice how the program had a profound impact on their lives.

We thank our graduates for their continued commitment to providing therapy services for all, regardless of ability to pay. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to help so many people from underserved communities get the vital mental health care services that they need.

We wish our graduates the best as they enter the field and help many more people live their healthiest, happiest lives. Welcome to the CFR alumni family, Class of 2019.
