US District Court for the Eastern District of PA Recognizes Council for Relationships’ Work with STAR Program

March 14, 2018 | The US District Court for the Eastern District of PA recognized Council for Relationships for its work with participants in the Supervision to Aid Reentry (STAR) Program at their graduation ceremony last week.

The Supervision to Aid Re-entry (STAR) Program helps reintegrate offenders into the community through assistance with education, training, employment, and other needs. After participants successfully complete 52 weeks, they are eligible for a reduction of their supervised release period up to one year.

STAR is one of the 15 community partner sites in CFR’s Community Partnerships Initiative (CPI). Through CPI, Staff Therapists and interns provide free individual and group therapy services at community partner sites around the city.
