Clergy Educational Offerings

Council for Relationships offers a wide range of educational offerings for clergy. We offer the following options:

Post Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy – Clergy Track: A comprehensive training program combining coursework, clinical hours, and supervision leading to licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Congregational and Family Systems Academy Certificate Program: This program fosters leadership principals that promote a broader repertoire for responding to the challenges in ministry and organizational settings.

Workshops for Clergy: One day “lunch and learn” workshops are available for members of the clergy and mental health professionals looking for further education from a clinical perspective. Topics can include:

  • Grief Counseling
  • First Responders: Counseling for Military Families
  • The Impact of Social Media on Relationships, Community, and Congregational Life

Continuing Education Courses: Council for Relationships offers CE credits for counselors and mental health professionals.

Individual Courses: Courses offered as part of the Post Graduate Program are available for matriculation on an individual basis to any clergy member, counselor, or mental health professional looking for advanced training.
