Dr. Furlan was trained at the University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the delivery of evidence-based therapies to adults.  She administers cognitive behavior therapy for depression, personality disorders, OCD, trichotillomania and dermatillomania, health anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, ADHD and bipolar disorder as well as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help people manage distressing emotions and enhance their quality of life. Dr. Furlan has modified cognitive behavior therapy protocols to treat depression and anxiety in people with medical diagnoses such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and post-partum depression.  In her clinical practice she applies a scientific approach with warmth and humor in order to enhance symptom remission as efficiently and effectively as possible.
