No-Cost Mental Health Services for Those Who Care for Our Community*

*Due to funding, we are currently not accepting new clients at this time. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list should funding become available, please fill out the below form.

With the COVID-19 outbreak, we are painfully aware of the challenges faced by the essential workers and those on the front lines as they help those in our community affected by the virus as well as those of us trying to avoid the virus.

Council for Relationships is providing no cost mental health services to healthcare providers (including doctors, nurses, and other medical facility staff) and others responding to the COVID-19 outbreak in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to those working in hospitals and emergency facilities, this group includes police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, grocery store workers, and others dealing with stress and risk associated with COVID-19. Click here to view our Those Who Care for Our Community flyer. Additionally, we have received special funding specifically to provide services for EMTs, paramedics, and nurses. (See flyer here)

Council for Relationships therapists have expertise in treating those who are experiencing trauma or have a history of past trauma. Anyone receiving services from this initiative will receive therapy from the same expert therapist throughout their course of treatment, which may last several months. Some may seek treatment in the midst of this crisis and many may seek treatment later in the aftermath of the pandemic.

Those Who Care for Our Community who are able to pay for these services are asked to do so and, after seeing a Council therapist, submit statements to their insurance provider for partial or full reimbursement.  Funds raised for this initiative are to benefit Those Who Care for our Community who would have difficulty affording and/or paying upfront for mental health care for themselves.
