Philadelphia, PA – 03/20/2025 – Lace up your sneakers! The Miles for Mental Health 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk is back for its second year on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Bala Cynwyd Park. This exciting event, presented by CertaPro Painters of the Main Line and FirstService Corporation, raises vital funds for Operation Home & Healing (OHH), a program of Council for Relationships (CFR) that provides mental health support to Veterans, active-duty military members, and their families.

“Every step we take together brings us closer to ensuring that those who serve our country receive the mental health support they deserve,” said Dr. Qianna S. Snooks, Director of Operation Home & Healing. “CFR’s OHH program is unique in that we serve veterans of all eras, regardless of discharge status. This event is more than a race—it’s a movement for healing and support.”

“We’re proud to continue to stand with CFR in support of Veterans’ mental health,” expressed Chris Drucquer, Chief Executive Officer of CertaPro Painters of the Main Line. “The Miles for Mental Health 5K brings our community together to ensure that those who served have access to the care and support they need.”

For those who want to support the cause but can’t make it to race day, you can donate directly to OHH or purchase an exclusive race-day shirt, designed by renowned Philadelphia artist Amberella. A passionate advocate for mental health, Amberella’s work embodies strength, hope, and resilience.

“Mental health is a universal need, and access to support should never be out of reach,” Amberella explained. “Through my work as an artist, I explore resilience, transformation, and the power of self-expression – each a vital part of healing. Just as art and movement create space for reflection and release, mental health resources provide a foundation for strength and renewal. Every individual deserves that support, especially those who served and sacrificed.”
