Kailey Posterick, M.Ed., LPC-A (she/hers)

Kailey is a Houston native and licensed therapist, currently working with serious offenders involved in the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department. As a therapist, she is able to help youth process their trauma and develop healthy habits to reduce recidivism and achieve wellness. Her work is grounded in restorative justice and addressing the roots of judicial involvement, including poverty, bias, and systemic racism. In addition to her work with clients, she also co-created and facilitates a department-wide program titled, “Foundations of Equality and Equity: The HCJPD Allyship Program”. By working with both clients and staff, she hopes to influence positive institutional change through policy enhancements, training, and transformative personal relationships.

Prior to her work as a therapist, Kailey worked for many years in international education at the University of Houston, where she earned her M.Ed. in Counseling. She earned her B.A. in Psychology at the University of St. Thomas. In the future she hopes to earn a Ph.D. and work with underserved communities, including criminal offenders.

Mia Fine, PhD, LMFT, CST, CSE (They/She)

Mia is a white, Queer, neurodivergent, disabled, introverted, nerdy, and relationship-oriented human. They are also a Washington state clinical supervisor, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both private practice and group practice (PNW Sex Therapy Collective) in Seattle, Washington. Mia is a student of Queer Theory, Intersectionality, and social justice, and offers holistic, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed therapy. They utilize the modalities of EMDR Trauma Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Wheel of Consent, DBT, and Transformative Justice in their therapeutic and educational work. Mia’s clients tend to be people navigating sexual health concerns, eroticism, intimacy, kink, LGBTQIA+ genders/orientations/sexualities, desire discrepancy, and navigating multiple intimate relationships. They are on the Pan Eros Board of Directors, an adjunct professor at Antioch University, and faculty at the Institute for Sexuality, Education, and Enlightenment (ISEE). Mia offers a variety of educational workshops and training for organizations, schools, and therapeutic practices. When they’re not working, you can find Mia practicing self-care by climbing mountains, spending quality time in community, and finding new and exciting ways to adventure.

F Sexual Shame!  Building Sexual Confidence and Confronting Sexual Shame

Jackie Golob, MS, LPCC (She/Hers)

Jackie is a Sex Therapist in Minneapolis, MN who heals sexual shame. In her practice, Shameless Therapy & Consulting Services, LLC, Jackie works with clients in sex therapy who have internalized shameful messages about sex, from friends, family, teachers, coaches, self, and others. Jackie incorporates insightful action holding clients accountable when shameful messages arise, and uses tools related to overt and covert shame. Jackie focuses on incorporating self-compassion skills, meditative approaches, rewriting the narrative on shame, shame attacking exercises, shameless communication, and building better boundaries to boost confidence! Jackie provides consultation and coaching services, does speaking engagements with other therapists, medical clinics, healers, providers across the nation about sex therapy services and opening up their own private practice. Jackie helps people transform into their shameless, sexy, self!
