CFR is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 cohort on a rolling admissions basis.
Program Application: We prefer you submit your application online by filling out the form below, but you may submit an application on paper. Please contact Michelle Serious at mserious@councilforrelationships.org to request a paper application.
Deadline: CFR is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 cohort on a rolling admissions basis.
Application Fee: $50 (waived for students who apply online)
Resume: Current resume or CV required
Transcripts: Official transcripts must be sent directly to Council for Relationships from all the colleges/universities where you completed graduate-level training.
Autobiography (4 Page Minimum): The autobiography should include both personal and professional information that explains your life journey to being a therapist.
Three Letters of Recommendation:
- Clinical Track: Three letters of recommendation from individuals who know you both professionally and personally.
- Clergy Track: Three letters of recommendation from individuals who know you professionally (one from a denominational judicatory, one from a colleague, and one from a lay person).
Personal Interview: When application materials are complete, Program Directors will invite you to schedule an interview.
Additional Requirements for International Applicants
Transcript Evaluation: All international students applying to the Post Graduate Certificate Program must have their transcripts evaluated by an approved agency.
