Course Requirements

Explore the required courses and intensives for the Post Graduate Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Course material in the Post Graduate Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy covers models of marriage and family therapy, the integration of therapy models, child and adolescent development from a systems perspective, sex therapy, diversity, ethics, research, and mindfulness. Requirements:

  • One 15-week course
  • 14 ten-week courses
  • 4 five-week courses
  • 6 one-day intensive workshops (subject to change)

Required 15-week course:

Live Supervision

Required 10-week courses:

These courses meet once a week and are offered on a 10-week quarterly basis

Each course is taught by senior level LMFT clinicians and AAMFT approved supervisors

Course hours count towards Continuing Education credit for PA/NJ Marriage and Family Therapy licensure
