Course Requirements
Explore the required courses and intensives for the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Course material in the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy covers models of marriage and family therapy, the integration of therapy models, child and adolescent development from a systems perspective, sex therapy, diversity, ethics, research, and mindfulness. Requirements:
- 14 ten-week courses
- 4 five-week courses
- 5 one-day intensive workshops (subject to change)
Required 10-week courses:
These courses meet once a week and are offered on a 10-week quarterly basis.
Senior-level LMFT clinicians and AAMFT-approved supervisors teach each course.
Course hours count towards Continuing Education credit for PA/NJ Marriage and Family Therapy licensure.
