Becoming Parents, Staying Partners is a warm, practical, and research-informed workshop for first-time expecting couples preparing for the transition to parenthood. Even the strongest relationships can feel strained during this shift; this workshop offers expert guidance to help you move through it together.
Led by Amy Jones, MSW, MFT, LCSW, PMH-C—Couples and Family Therapist at Council for Relationships and Director of CFR’s Women’s Psychological Health Services—this workshop helps couples stay connected, communicate effectively, and build a strong foundation for parenting as a team.
You’ll learn:
- Tools for healthy communication and emotional support
- Strategies to manage stress and maintain intimacy
- Conversation starters to navigate shifting roles
- How your relationship impacts postpartum mental health and child development
