Master’s Degree in Couple and Family Therapy

The Couple and Family Therapy Master’s degree program is a unique collaboration between Council for Relationships and Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Health Professions. The clinical counseling program has two specialty tracks: family therapy and sex therapy. This is a full-time, two-year, 66-credit program, which is modeled on the core curriculum developed by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).

Post Graduate Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy

The Post Graduate Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Council for Relationships is one of the nation’s premier training programs for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).

Congregational and Family Systems Academy Certificate Program

The Congregational and Family Systems Academy Certificate Program is for clergy interested in learning Family Systems Theory with direct application to their functioning in ministry. This is a 2-year Advanced Training Program. The curriculum of the Academy mirrors the first-year academics of the Post Graduate Certificate Program, except for the clinical practice.

Post Graduate Certificate Program in Sex Therapy

Council for Relationships offers a unique Post Graduate Certificate Program in Sex Therapy. Clinical, supervisory, and educational components for sex therapy certification are offered in one program. The curriculum is designed for post graduate clinicians such as therapists, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, physicians, etc. who want to expand their clinical repertoire in sexuality.
