If you are feeling stuck, alone, or confused about yourself or your relationships, then therapy could be a helpful next step for you. I would love to help you explore your story and learn how to tap into your ability to grow and heal. My style is warm, conversational, and relational, because I believe the main way we grow and change is by being in authentic and non-judgmental relationships. Whether you are facing relational concerns, a life transition, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, or any type of trauma, my goal is to help you gain both the insight and the skills you need to navigate your concerns.

I have a special interest in working with those who want to heal from religious trauma or process their spirituality, those who want to better navigate intercultural and inter-racial relationships, and those, particularly men, who want to be more open and connected in their relationships. I strive to be an ally to those who experience systemic oppression and hold marginalized identities.

After 10 years working in the nonprofit world, I made a career switch and earned a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania. One of the reasons I decided to switch careers and become a therapist is that I have experienced the power of therapy in my own life. It helped me understand my story and the ways my family and communities have shaped me, and it helped empower me to write my story differently, in ways that feel most authentic, joyful, and honoring of who I am. I know how helpful it was for me to have a therapist be a compassionate and wise witness to my story, and I want to offer that same type of presence to others. When I am not in the office, I am likely curling up with my cat, reading in a coffee shop, scouting out thrift stores, making dinner for friends, or getting outside into the woods. I would love to hear from you. Please reach out by email or phone to either set up an appointment or have a quick conversation so we can figure out if we might be a good fit.
