Therapy is where healing begins and caring never stops. If you’re willing to share, I’ve got a compassionate heart and emotional ears to listen to. My therapy goal is to walk the walk with you and empower you to be a leader in your life story, revealing a new meaning and context out of your experiences to reconstruct your life. Nobody should walk through life alone. Difficult moments dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, abuse, traumatic/painful experiences, anger, grief, infidelity, betrayal, marriage, communication, relationship issues, or spirituality needs are eased with therapeutic guidance. Be courageous; take action! Compassionate caring to restore your life is a call away.

Dr. Muorah is a licensed marriage and family therapist with specialized training in brainspotting, sex therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and working with veterans and their families. He is a board-approved clinical supervisor. Dr. Muorah provides individual, couple, and family therapy; he helps clients to recreate their narratives and find new meaning and purpose in their lives. He uses joining, solution, and emotion-focused interventions; cognitive and relational attunements, empowering language, ACT and systemic interventions to bring about desirable changes. At the heart of his clinical interventions is identifying what you care about in life, mindfully opening up and allowing/acknowledging your life experiences, and being guided by your core values to do what matters by engaging in smart actions and behavioral patterns that add value to what you care about or the quality of life you have. Dr. Muorah has helped blended families alleviate divergence to become a strong and cohesive family unit. His life across continents helps him address cultural and diversity issues. He has unique strength in helping people to resolve marital issues, racial/cultural and shame-based trauma, collective/generational trauma and sexual trauma. If there is collective trauma, there is a collective wisdom that addresses it. Dr. Muorah is also a Christian and pre-marriage counselor helping people to heal and live their best quality of life.
