Mr. Purinton practices individual, couple and family therapy as a social worker. His experience and areas of interest include depression, anxiety, children who have lost a loved one, and palliative care as a model of medicine to improve quality of life. Mr. Purinton is especially passionate about working with adults and children who are dealing with pain and/or disability. He is trained in clinical hypnosis as well as guided imagery and relaxation techniques. He helps individuals, children and adolescents, couples, and families to build on their strengths and help them in developing effective coping strategies to deal with the adversities of life.
