Why Sex Therapy at CFR
Sex can be an essential part of both individual and relational wellbeing. Sex therapy can deepen and enhance couples counseling by offering sexual intimacy, the deepest form of communication, as a microcosm for exploring the relationship itself. Many of us have ingrained lessons or experiences that interfere with our ability to explore our own sexuality. CFR’s sex therapists are a diverse group of multidisciplinary clinicians with advanced training in the fields of human sexuality and sex therapy. CFR is affirming of all sexual and gender expressions.
Our sex therapists help individuals and partners with a wide range of sexual concerns and topics, such as:
- Sex education and sexual enrichment
- Recapturing lost sensuality
- Exploring sexuality after childbirth
- Low libido or arousal
- Hypersexuality
- Orgasmic, erectile, and sexual arousal disorders
- Fetish and compulsive behaviors
- Polyamory
- Premature ejaculation
