Dr. Marsh is a licensed psychologist and an AASECT-Certified sex therapist and sex therapy supervisor. Dr. Marsh focuses treatment on the specific needs of each individual, giving special attention to balancing the needs of each member of a couple. She encourages her clients to be open and direct about what they want from their significant others and from her. She explores each client’s positive motivations and individual needs to help them increase compassion, empathy, and closeness.

Dr. Marsh’s specialty areas include trauma, sexuality throughout the life cycle, sexual abuse, affairs, depression and anxiety, parenting issues, and loss and grief. Dr. Marsh uses EMDR therapy as a modality to assist with many issues, particularly trauma resolution. In addition to her work as a therapist, Dr. Marsh was the Director of the Sex Therapy Track at Thomas Jefferson University’s Couple & Family Therapy Master’s program for fifteen years. She continues to supervise sex therapy students and established couple and sex therapists.
