Staff Therapist Sarah Bauer, MS, MFT featured in AAMFT’s Family Therapy Magazine

August 20, 2018 | Staff Therapist Sarah Bauer MS, MFT was featured in the current issue (Volume 17, Issue No. 4) of Family Therapy Magazine by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy.

This particular issue focused on the impact of substance abuse disorder and the opioid epidemic on families. Ms. Bauer’s article, Addiction and the Elderly, was one of several featured pieces. Other featured topics included disorder treatment within the family context, chronic pain and opioid use, mothers with substance abuse disorder, and neonatal abstinence syndrome.
