Psychiatry
Psychiatry
Some clients seek psychiatric evaluation and treatment to explore the biological causes of their symptoms and to manage psychiatric medications. Others may choose to see a psychiatrist for both medication and therapy or work with a therapist for talk therapy while seeing a staff psychiatrist for medication management.

What Treatment Does a Psychiatrist Provide?
Our Staff Psychiatrists are trained medical doctors who can evaluate whether medication would be helpful in a client’s treatment. They can prescribe medications and provide ongoing medication management. Our Staff Psychiatrists also provide psychotherapy, as do our staff therapists.
CFR Staff Psychiatrists provide comprehensive evaluation, including biological causes and treatment of symptoms.
If you are seeking therapy, you may not need to see a psychiatrist. If you are unsure of whether you are looking for a therapist or psychiatrist, you can always talk to a member of our Client Care Team by calling 215-382-6680 ext 1.
