Caitlin believes it is an honor and a privilege to be a therapist and create a safe space for people to get to know themselves and work to enrich their relationships with others. Caitlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of the Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research. She has a passion for working with individuals, couples, and families.
Before becoming a staff therapist at Council for Relationships, Caitlin worked as a medical social worker in outpatient neurology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families cope with medical issues, stress, and chronic illness. She has expertise supporting people who work in the medical field attend to their own needs, boundaries, values, and self-care.
Caitlin has experience working with gender nonconforming and transgender teens and young adults/adults and their family members. She is passionate about providing LGBTQIA competent care.
Caitlin works from a strengths-based systemic perspective. She believes each client has unique needs; and she values connecting clients with evidence-based resources. She incorporates and acknowledges the mind-body connection in her work.
