Lia Pezzato, MFT

Hello, I am Lia, a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. You have come to the right place if you have been sitting with discomforting feelings and need additional support. I work with various clients, such as individuals, couples, and families. I take on a supportive and collaborative role with my clients as a therapist. Through exploring family, relational, social, and societal dynamics, I strive to help clients identify their stressors and find ways to work through them comfortably. Much of my work with individuals, couples, and families focuses on building healthy communication and setting boundaries to resolve issues further.

As a therapist, I do my best to provide clients with an open, accepting, safe space. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, so I am passionate about working with topics surrounding sexuality and gender identity, as well as LGBTQ+ relationships and family trauma. I strive to help all my clients reach a place of self-acceptance, confidence, and comfort. Much of my work also focuses on assisting couples and families through conflict and dysfunction. When not working, I mostly spend time with family and friends. Some of my hobbies include playing the drums, making art, playing ice hockey, and going on hikes with my dog!
