Quality therapy is an inherently collaborative process. As a therapist, I work alongside my clients to identify goals and motivations for therapy, always treating the client as the expert in their own life. My approach to therapy is integrative and eclectic, based upon client needs. However, the core of my practice is based in person-centered, feminist, and multicultural frameworks. As someone who has been on both sides of the chair – as both a client and a therapist, I understand the vulnerability and trust required to build an effective therapeutic relationship. It is honor and a privilege to work alongside my clients, and whether you work with me or another therapist, I am proud of you for beginning this process of growth and healing.
Prior to my work as a therapist, I worked in government affairs and public policy. However, I decided I wanted to shift from systems- to individual-level work. I consider therapy to be social justice work, and I believe building a more just and compassionate world begins with caring for the individuals within it.
I work with individuals (ages 15+) and couples. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to potential new clients. If you would like to schedule a call to determine if I am the right fit for your needs, or if you would like to schedule an intake appointment, please reach out using the form below.
