Carol is an Individual, Couple, and Family Therapist who works with an integrative approach. This includes quieting the mind and calming the body through deep relaxation and mindfulness training. Carol also uses Internal Family Systems to help clients recognize their many Parts and to bring harmony to all Parts of Self. Carol is recognized for helping families build safety, trust and intimacy through secure attachments and resilience training.

Carol has 25+ years experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, grief, health concerns, addiction, depression, anxiety, and marital/family conflicts. Carol employs research in psychotherapy to help clients unlock conflict and move toward renewed appreciation and delight in families.

Carol is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Specialist in Pennsylvania. Carol worked at Jefferson Hospital in Psychiatry for 17 years. Currently, Carol supervises therapists and teaches Psychopathology to Jefferson and CFR postgraduate students. Carol has a friendly and practical style and a sensitivity to diversity issues and invisible identities. Carol uses hope and humor to guide clients toward reaching their goals and to achieve greater ease in their minds and bodies.

 

Rate: $250 | Offers a sliding scale rate.
