Darrell Carson is a couple and family therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families to untangle an array of challenges. He works collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are, while creating a warm, calm, and welcoming space to help facilitate positive change. He is deeply committed and intentional in helping clients towards accomplishing healthy therapeutic, personal, and professional goals. Mr. Carson’s clinical focus includes, but is not limited to improving relationship quality for couples and families, shifting negative generational family patterns, anger management, intimate partner violence, and establishing work/life balance.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Mr. Carson spent over a decade as a database analyst for various non-profit organizations and hospitals throughout the city. He uses that experience to balance deeper emotional work with helping clients to discover practical solutions to everyday challenges. Clients are drawn to Mr. Carson’s warmth, gentle insightfulness, and ability to lower anxiety “in the moment”. He is culturally competent and an LGBTQ ally.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Carson co-facilitates life skills workshops at a transitional housing program in the Philadelphia area.
